Nutrition Fair Alert!
Hey everybody! My name is Charity, and I am your newly elected County Council reporter. I'm here to tell you about the upcoming Taste of 4-H Nutrition Fair. If you have never been to or participated in Nutrition Fair, now is your chance! All you need to do is come up with a healthy, amazing recipe to submit. But, you don't have a lot of time left, so all you need to do is submit your recipe and registration by March 7th. Rules and entry info can be found at http://stokes.ces.edu/ under 4-H Youth Development. There are several categories to chose from: bread, dessert, beverage, salad/vegetables, main dish, and snack. You need to dress the part. Bring a table cloth, table settings, along with small plates and utensils for the judges. It also helps if you have a theme or centerpiece for your table. This year is even better, because we're inviting the community to come out and taste all the dishes! We are asking them to drop loose change as they taste the creations then all the chefs will go home with a special treat. All the recipes will go into a cookbook so you can make them at home.
The 4-H Nutrition Fair will be held on Thursday, March 10th at 6:00pm at a TBD location.
Hope to see all of you there!
